Pentre Farm Cottage is a traditional Welsh farmhouse thought to have been built in the late fourteenth century situated on the hillside on the edge of the Llynfi Valley, one mile from the historic village of Llangynwyd.

The property has many original features, natural slate floor, exposed beams and stonework with a log burner for those cooler months.

The main town of Maesteg is approximately 3 miles away. The town has leisure facilities, a swimming pool, parks, shops, supermarkets, etc. The situation of the property is a haven for nature lovers. An abundance of wildlife can be viewed at the property, a breeding pair of greater spotted woodpeckers, song birds, red kites, hedgehogs, squirrels, rabbits and deer, all regularly seen.

Brecon a beautiful town in south mid Wales is less than an hour away and the coast is within easy reach. There are many local attractions to suit all ages and tastes. Surfers will love the coastline from Ogmore by Sea, boasting one of the largest natural dunes in Europe stretching across to Rossilli, considered to be the best beach in Wales if not the UK. Neath Waterfalls is also a must for visitors appealing to all ages.
